Henry Finch is from Henrico, North Carolina. He is a graduate of Appalachian State University and the University of Iowa Writers' Workshop. He has taught creative writing at the University of Iowa, the University of Iowa International Writing Program, Schoodic Arts for All, Waynflete, the Riley School, and in libraries and schools throughout coastal Maine with grants from the Maine Community Foundation and Brooksville Education Foundation. His writing appears in The North American Review, LIT, jubilat, Fourteen Hills, The Seattle Review, The Massachusetts Review, Forklift Ohio, VOLT, Green Mountains Review, and many others. He is an editor at Crevice. He lives in Burlington, Vermont and performs original music with The Capacity Ensemble.
